Description

A lovely set of vintage Noritake porcelain dessert bowls plates dishes with a soft green luster rim. The Center design is of a basket full of vivid, colorful flowers, the large, shallow serving bowl plate has 2 large butterflies hovering over the basket.
Includes 5 smaller shallow bowls.
The emblem stamped on the back of each plate has an “M” circled by a wreath with the words NORITAKE above the wreath and HANDPAINTED and MADE IN JAPAN below it. The mark was registered in 1918 and used in the 1920’s until the 1940’s.
Approximate measurements: Serving piece 9.75 inch diameter, Small bowls 5 inch diameter
Condition is very good. There are no chips, cracks or scratches to the porcelain. The graphics are brightly colored, and beautiful. There are some minor signs of wear to the finish /paint
