What a fantastic Halloween nutcracker! It seems to be a rarity as nutcrackers seem to mostly consist of Christmas figures. Really dynamically designed, with a feeling of both Tim Burton and Edward Gorey to it. This charming bony dude is over 14 inches tall and has a nice solid base. Note the wonderful glitter finish in many places including the orange base. some parts of the sculpture seem to be foam whereas others seem to be either wood or some sort of wood composite. for being made of light materials in places the whole thing is still a little heavy giving it a nice solidity as a decoration. it has a wonderful vintage quality to it and almost feels as though it could have come from another age, the Golden age of Halloweeniana.
