This is the William Morrow edition of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit Illustrated by the Author. This version includes the drawings and watercolor pictures as Tolkien himself envisioned.
This is a brand new and sealed book, however there are two small blemishes in the front cover where the plastic got nicked. I tried to picture it as best as I could.
This includes a fold out version of Thror’s map with the “hidden” Moon runes as well as the large fold out map of Winderland insert from the back of the book.
This would make a great reading copy for a collection, or a great display.
