New, sealed Hexagontchi Tamagotchi. This is the Red shell with white frame and cream buttons with a printed Hexagon mascot above the screen. The mascots on the Hexagontchi and its packaging also appear on a Nintendo DS game based on the game show.
The box has a bit of wear to it due to storage.
The Hexagontchi is more text-heavy than most other Tamagotchis as there is importance in answering quizzes. The happiness meter is replaced with an intelligence meter, although it essentially functions the same. The happiness icons from the Plus Color are also replaced with intelligence icons, which spell out the word HEXAGON in English when all 7 are obtained.
In order to earn the intelligence icons on this version, the player must correctly answer questions under various circumstances, most of them found by meeting Shinsuketchi.
The Hexagontchi features four mini-games. The first three are based on games from the original Plus Color. Winning a game will earn 100 Gotchi Points.
