A beautiful piece with a timeless elegance. A rare open sugar bowl by Spode Copeland in the Savoy shape decorated in the Billingsley Rose pattern. The fine porcelain is embossed with cabbage leaves on the outside and painted with just a hint of delicate pink roses around the inside rim.
So beautiful it's been displayed with it's own stand to admire. It is in MINT condition with not a single sign of use. No chips, cracks, discoloration or repairs. Truly a beauty to behold.
4 1/4 dia. rim x 2 5/8 high. On it's stand it measures a total of 3 7/8 high.
The bottom is marked: Spode Copeland China, England, Savoy Billingsley Rose, and a hand painted Y and numbered 2862.
