Prase quartz crystal cluster with ultra-thin etched lines that connect and encircle the crystal prism faces. These lines were once, or are, occupied by thin blades of calcite. These rare specimens are referred to by a special name: 'growth interference quartz', where the occupying or weathered-away calcite mineral structures interfered with the growth of the quartz. The prase quartz crystals have a glassy luster and very lovely green color from Hedenbergite inclusions. Discovered originally in Scandinavia & then again later in Mongolia in 2018, no new pockets or product of this level available since.
