Federal Eagle was released in 1967, manufactured for a year, and was only printed on three items. These mugs are the only item of the line that are dark brown. The other 2 items have a creamy/yellow background.
Federal Eagle was one of two patterns that made up the Hearth Group, the other pattern being Brittany Blue. The Hearth Group line debuted new Pyrex shapes and sizes, notably the diagonal handle.
3.5 tall, 2.5 base, 3.5 top. 2 tall handle. 4.5 wide including handle. Holds 10oz
Very good condition considering age. There are some scratches on the exterior, a couple are a little more scratched up than the others. There's some ware to the color around the bottom and I'm sure the brown has faded some. But the gold leaf has held up very well, it looks undamaged. There's no structural damage like cracks or chips.
