Copper chafing dish made of hammered copper; dish is about 8 in diameter and stands about 2.75 high (without lid) and has two metal handles that stick out about 2.25 from the edge of the dish; lid is about 8.25 in diameter and stands about 1.5 tall (without handle) and the handle stands about 2.25 above the top of the lid; heating base has three legs and heating element and is a little over 8 in diameter and stands just under 5 high; my grandparents lived in Afghanistan in the early 1960's and purchased it while living there.
