I was actually commissioned to make this Octopus… and the person passed away just before I finished our! So sad! It sounds heartless but I put alot of thought, HOURS that became days that became weeks of time into it. And of course all my love and inspiration. (Hours lamps are actually one of my big things I do from basic geometric patterns to any animal…) all are quite beautiful. I ALSO GROW THE GOURDS MYSELF. Which isn’t difficult, it’s the drying and preserving that’s tricky!! I say all this because of your interested in a personal special order I’m your gal. But I’ve now learned to be payed at l least half up front!! Back to ‘Ophelia’ my children named her, my camera really can’t capture how incredible she is. I’ve RECYCLED glass beads and marbles (no PLASTIC, EVER) The glass is actually fired so well that I very very rarely even use glue.
