This is a beautiful 60 carat Natural Golden Smokey Quartz. Most likely from Brazil. It was pulled from a 14k gold ring circa the 70's. These Stones were set in gold as statement jewelry back then and sold as Topaz. I had it tested by a Gemologist and it is quartz. This stone is water clear. No inclusions. There are some fibers from the cloth used to remove fingerprints in the pictures.
