It's a portable 9-in otic DVD player with a swivel screen and a rechargeable battery it does need a round 12 volt plug which I do not have when I got it it came without the plug and I just never went and got one I've never used it my mother bought my son one that would fit in the carry case in the car so we use the other one instead. What looks like scratches on the screen is just the plastic bubbled up as I show in the one picture the screen rotates to the one side and turns all the way around and lays down flat and halfway to the other side
