This is a BDU jacket from the US Army.
It was officially adopted in 1981 and was primarily made as a field combat uniform for the US military.
Made of 50% nylon and 50% cotton ripstop fabric, it is highly durable.
While olive green is a standard military color, BDUs are mostly in woodland camo and desert camo, making this one very rare.
This specification (GREEN483) was likely only manufactured in 1999.
I purchased this jacket, which is likely a deadstock item, even among the few existing ones, and being a collector, I only wore it in my room.
I never wore it outside, but as the title states, it is considered deadstock.
In recent years, the number of releases has decreased, and the original number of items was small, so the price has been rising.
In fact, I searched for it, but it is no longer available at shops where I used to see it frequently a few years ago.
